I've been spending a lot of time studying the "law of attraction" more than usual. I first got a book in 1995 called "Think and grow rich", the book never specifically mentions "the law of attraction" it just says that their is a "law", and you don't need to know what it's called. "Why"!?...
I was one of the people that started using the secrets for awhile, but didn't stick to it, when I didn't manifest what I wanted to see quick enough...I'm sure this sounds like so many of us..
If any person should know if these laws work, it should be me.. I mean, I'm a christian and I believe what the word of God says...

I did a search that "faith" is mentioned 528 times in the bible. Matt 7 & Heb 11 come to mind immediatly.
Matt 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Having faith is very vital in manifesting the person that you want to become! You think what you want to be do or have, and you have to believe! That's faith, that's right! It's interesting that we don't even have to have a lot of faith, just a little bit of faith!
Jesus also commend people for their "great faith"!
I've seen the secret when it came out, and the same thing happened to me, I played with it for awhile, and then I let it go..but I always knew it was there...I just need to work it!
Today looking into the "law of attraction" I found a blog about a lady, a self proclaimed doormat who had turned her life around and was inspiret by a movie and book by Louise Hay "You can heal your life". I bought the movie and I've watched it two times so far, and I love it. I've also read books by Esther and Jerry Hicks...I also started reading the book of Matthew, and I'm really learning a lot about our thoughts and what is the right way to use our thoughts...
I had read a book called the "Solomon Secret".... Would you be surprised to learn that getting comes by giving?
Even though I've been in the church all my life, you can hear the words, but if you don't let the words into your life and practice them, than they don't mean a thing!
I'm always learning about this law! I'm learning their is a great power to doing "affermations" yes, look into the mirror and say "I love you" etc.. yada yada...and when you have a negative thought, replace it with a positve one, and see what happens! Do a mantra in your head all day long of something positve, don't say you want it, say you have it!
Don't worry about not manifesting quickly...Just like a seed that needs to be planted and watered, it doesn't grow right away, neither do our manifestations...
